We exist to close the distance between the island's wealth and the island's builders.
The island builds things the world buys, and funds them somewhere else. AbeBooks was founded in Victoria in 1995 and still runs here under Amazon. A Victoria-raised philosophy student co-founded Slack and sold it for $27.7B. Beanstream processed the continent's payments from downtown Victoria before a EUR 1.7B acquisition. Built here. Funded elsewhere. Every time.
The money never left. BC households hold roughly $2.7T in net worth, the highest in the country. More than $10B moved through island homes in 2025 alone. Reported angel capital across all of BC that same year: $19M. The wealth is here. It just has no way to reach the people building the next AbeBooks.
So we built the way. One flagship experience a year that puts builders, operators, and capital in the same room. A capital lane that curates the island's first cheques instead of selling to them. An intelligence layer that puts the private market on the record. It begins October 27, 2026 in Victoria.
Vancouver Island Business Experience. One day, one room, 200 seats, by application. October 27, Victoria.
The first-cheque mission. Curated, not sold. By invitation.
